Symptoms:At startup the error message, "Macromedia Projector... has encountered a problem", is displayed.
1. Click the Start Menu and select the Control Panel.
2. Open QuickTime.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
4. Check the option to enable Safe Mode.
5. Click OK.
6. Run The Passage again.
Notes:
If the control panel says Pick a Category you will need to select the Classic View option on the left side of the window to see the QuickTime icon.
If there are no tabs across the top of the QuickTime window you are using an older version of QuickTime and will need to download the latest version from www.apple.com/quicktime.
