Director Player Error - Script Error
Problem
While in program, error message will appear saying that there has been a Director Player Error, Script Error or Projector Error. The program needs to be reinstalled. Follow the steps in the order below. You may find it helpful to print out these directions.
Solution Overview
- Reinstall the game. Make sure you have the latest versions of Wild Divine software installed. Mac Versions / PC Versions
- Ensure that the program is installed in default directory
- Run system configuration to eliminate conflicting programs
To reinstall the Program:
To uninstall the game:
1. Click on the Start Menu, and then choose Control Panel.
2. Open Add/Remove Programs.
3. Find the software to be uninstalled.
a. The Passage will be listed as The Journey to Wild Divine.
b. Healing Rhythms will be listed as Healing Rhythms.
4. Click Remove.
To remove any remaining files:
1. Click the Start Menu, and choose My Computer.
2. In my computer open Local Disk C:
3. Open Program Files. If the program files folder is hidden, choose Show the contents of this folder.
4. Drag the appropriate folder into the recycle bin.
a. For the Passage this is the Wild Divine folder.
b. For Healing Rhythms it is Healing Rhythms which is located inside The Wild Divine Project folder.
Ensure that program is installed in the appropriate directory:
If the game is in the wrong directory the paths for files may become too long for Windows to handle and Director Errors may occur. Ensure that the program is installed in the default path given during installation.
Run System Configuration
It's possible that sometype of hardware may be interfering with the software. Usually it's Logitech or Olympus devices. They just need to be taken out of the Startup in the msconfig. Please email me at helpdesk@wilddivine.com for assistance with this.
